Human Resources Executives Special Interest Group Meeting

Reimagine the Future of Work
August 29, 2019 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Learn about the changing world of work – the challenges, trends, and cultural changes that will impact how we work, where we work and who we hire to fit future talent needs.

The traditional workplace is undergoing rapid change — from the way we connect, collaborate and communicate, to how we attract and retain top talent and reskill or upskill our workforces. It's becoming increasingly clear that the companies who will thrive in the workplace of tomorrow are the ones who embrace and plan for these changes today.

In light of the creative and insightful discussions we hope to have at this meeting, it will be hosted by American Family at "The SPARK" -- their newest building dedicated to innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship in Madison. The Spark has an environmentally-sustainable design, with collaborative indoor and outdoor spaces with an eye toward the future!

Join us to explore the latest ideas regarding the Future of Work:

  • Learn how CUNA Mutual is approaching the redesign of their campus, and how they are changing their culture to fit future talent needs.
  • Hear from AmFam's Future of Work team as they provide an overview of key work streams underway to redefine their talent value proposition, attract high-tech talent, reskill/upskill their workforce, and build an internal talent marketplace.
We will have time set aside in the afternoon for facilitated small breakout discussions so please come prepared with your questions, concerns or ideas regarding the Future of Work.

Who Should Attend: The HR Executives SIG is limited to HR directors and VP's at UWEBC member companies. Lower level managers and/or knowledge experts may attend if accompanied by a director or VP from their company.
