Description:

UW-Madison offers many opportunities for companies in Wisconsin to engage with us, whether their interest is research/expertise, innovation, professional development classes for their employees, or tapping into the cultural aspects of the arts on campus. There's literally something of value for every organization! That said, the university, as a whole, can seem very intimidating at times and it can be difficult to figure out what resources are available and how to connect with them. Join us on September 21 when we host "UW Day for HR Executives" at the Pyle Center and learn about the various corporate resources we have available for you and your employees.

The following departments on campus will be joining us throughout the day:

  • Arts Institute
  • Continuing Studies Division
  • Engineering Professional Development
  • Fluno Center for Executive Education (Wisconsin School of Business)
  • Office of Corporate Relations

There will be ample time built in for Q&A. Also, for those interested, we have scheduled a Campus Walking Tour from 2:15 - 3:30 pm which will begin and end at the Pyle Center. The tour will go on rain or shine, unless there is lightning, so please dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes. September can be absolutely beautiful on campus, so keep your fingers crossed and bring your cell phones for photo ops!

Who Should Attend: The HR Executives SIG is limited to HR directors and VP's at UWEBC member companies. Lower level managers and/or knowledge experts may attend if accompanied by a director or VP from their company. Questions about this may be directed to Beth de Garcia, UWEBC Director of Member Relations, Beth de Garcia
