Marketing Peer Group Meeting

Privacy Workshop for Marketers
August 28, 2019 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Hear from privacy experts and gain more confidence in your privacy approach with this in-depth data privacy and compliance workshop designed for marketers.

Are your marketing efforts fully compliant? And are you ready for next round of data privacy laws? There’s a lot at stake; Facebook - $5 billion in fines, British Airways - $230 million in fines, Marriott - $123 million in fines. Join us to improve your knowledge, gain valuable tools and learn what others are doing to be prepared.

This Privacy Workshop will be led by consultants from TrustArc, a leading privacy compliance software and consulting firm, along with privacy specialists from the law firm of Godfrey and Kahn. The workshop will consist of three core parts:

  • Educating on the current state of legislation (GDPR, CCPA and more)
  • Exploring an audit / assessment approach
  • Planning for readiness

Deliverables will include:

  • Handbook of current regulations
  • Marketing Do’s and Don’ts list
  • Digital inventory spreadsheet
  • PIA spreadsheet and evaluation guide
  • Breach decision tree
  • Privacy notice decision tree

This is an ideal event for marketing staff that own, actively participating in, or are greatly impacted by privacy compliance efforts. Seating will be limited to the first 40 registrants.

Participate in Customizing the Agenda: Help shape the agenda – and maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting topics for further discussion when you register. This are highly interactive sessions, so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
