Since 1998, the UWEBC has brought together executives, managers, and senior practitioners from leading companies to learn from each other. We are a unique partnership of industry-leading companies and Wisconsin’s flagship university. Five Wisconsin governors have recognized the UWEBC as a model of university-industry collaboration advancing the competitiveness of industry and the health of the economy.
We focus our efforts on five areas critical to a diverse range of businesses: Customer Service, Human Resources, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Technology. Membership resources are open and available to executives and managers in all areas of your company.
Our Founder
UWEBC was founded in 1998 by Dr. Raj Veeramani, who served as its Executive Director until 2025. A longtime professor at UW–Madison, Dr. Veeramani envisioned a unique university-industry partnership dedicated to helping companies gain competitive advantage through the application of digital business strategies and best practices.
Under his leadership, UWEBC became Wisconsin’s leading collaborative platform for innovation, learning, and cross-industry exchange. Dr. Veeramani’s passion for bridging academia and industry shaped the Consortium’s distinctive approach—grounded in practical insights, forward-looking research, and a deep commitment to shared success.
We are grateful for his decades of leadership and lasting contributions, which continue to inspire our mission and work today.
