Focus Area Peer Groups

Bringing people together is our secret sauce here at the UWEBC. We form communities around four main focus areas: Customer Experience & Marketing, People, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, and Technology, Data & AI. Participating in our 60+ member-only events each year is your opportunity to learn from your colleagues across Wisconsin businesses and beyond.

Peer Group meetings, Special Interest Group meetings, and Executive Retreats are the UWEBC’s core collaborative-learning offerings. These meetings are unique — very different from your typical seminar or business event. They feature subject-matter-expert presentations and practical case studies from member companies and experts in the field. Participants can look forward to highly collaborative discussions and learning. Meetings are facilitated by our UWEBC practice directors, recognized experts in their respective fields, which are listed below.

Peer Groups

Peer Groups are a unique form of professional development at an exceptional value. Managers and senior practitioners take away proven, actionable ideas from recognized thought leaders and professional peers. Most Peer Group meetings are held online, with a few in-person opportunities each year. All Peer Group meetings can be viewed asynchronously after the meeting on our streaming platform UWEBC+.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) bring together members with a shared interest in a specific topic for in-depth discussion over several meetings, the scheduling of which is typically done collaboratively. SIG meetings are typically more intimate than Peer Group meetings and offer a great opportunity to connect with others who are facing the same business challenges as you.

Executive Retreats

Executive Retreats are invitation-only events connecting top decision-makers from leading companies for interactive discussions of emerging trends, business challenges, and strategic insights. Learn more about Executive Retreats by connecting with the practice area in your functional area (below).
