IT peer group meeting

Technology

The Technology Peer Group, led by Heidi Rozmiarek, is designed to provide an in-depth, sophisticated forum for peer-to-peer discussion and member company presentation of key strategies. We welcome those interested in this field to attend events and delve into both ongoing challenges as well as emerging technologies for CTOS, directors and senior IT managers. The topics that were recently covered include data engineering, the future of digital transformation, and redefining security.

Special Interest Groups bring together members with a shared interest in a specific topic for in-depth discussion over several meetings.

The technology practice area currently has two Special Interest Groups: Agile and Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group (formerly Predictive Analytics SIG)

The Predictive Analytics Special Interest Group has grown—thanks to your feedback—into our Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group (AI SIG). While we still dive deep into predictive methods, the AI SIG now spans the broader spectrum of modern AI, from machine-learning operations (MLOps) to generative AI and responsible governance.

What we do in the AI SIG

  • Spotlight emerging AI trends. We unpack advances in LLMs, computer vision, and edge AI, translating research breakthroughs into practical business applications.
  • Hands-on use-case exchanges. Members present real-world projects—including demand-forecasting models, intelligent automation, and customer-experience chatbots—so you can see what works (and what doesn’t) across industries.
  • Tool and technique deep dives. Sessions cover everything from feature engineering and model monitoring to prompt design and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Round-tables on AI strategy & governance. We discuss ethical AI, data privacy, model risk management, and how to align AI initiatives with business goals.
  • Networking that builds partnerships. Each meeting includes structured time to connect with peers, swap lessons learned, and spark collaborations.

Whether you’re just starting to experiment with machine learning or scaling enterprise-wide AI solutions, the AI SIG offers a collaborative forum to learn, share, and stay ahead in this rapidly evolving field.
