Description
Middle managers are the "connective tissue" and "transformation multipliers" of the modern enterprise. While they are pivotal for bridging the gap between C-suite vision and frontline execution, they are frequently under-supported, contributing to the fact that only about 25% of organizational transformations succeed. In addition, they typically carry and nurture the currency of trust in an organization.
As AI begins to automate up to 43% of standard managerial tasks, the mid-level manager role will pivot from administrative oversight to "talent multiplier.” This session focuses on moving beyond the "strategic sandwich" pressure and equipping these leaders with the judgment, emotional intelligence, and agility required for radical reinvention.
Join us for this live panel event, featuring senior and mid-level leaders from UWEBC member companies - who will bring their learnings and lived experiences to the conversation. Our panelists include:
- Jen Kilman, OMRON
- Becca McKnight, Promega
- Bradley Schmieding, WEC Energy
Please share your questions during registration so we can see what we have in common and what stands out. And bring new questions with you to our time together too.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Identify the most appropriate and effective learning and development approach for managers. Evaluate learning strategies including human-led learning and coaching vs. AI-based learning and coaching.
- Create the space to name what's being lost as manager roles change and org structures shift. Build EQ skills to acknowledge the grief and clearly identify the disruption of transformation before it is perceived as resistance.
