Description

The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.

COVID-19 has accelerated many issues in business and the supply chain has been front and center. Of particular interest has been the shortage of commodities and lengthening of lead times over the past year along with increasing prices.

In this meeting we will explore how member companies have reacted to these issues and how they have delivered to their customers, both B2B and B2C, while navigating these constraints. We will also learn how Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) and Manufacturing Critical-path Time (MCT) can be used by internal teams or Tier 1 Suppliers to reduce lead times.

Participate in Networking and Benchmarking: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. You choose the discussions you want to join, and share your approaches while learning from others. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
