Description

Warehouse automation is no longer a future goal—it’s a current need for supply chains facing labor shortages, rising costs, and growing demand for speed and accuracy. This discussion brings together UWEBC supply chain leaders to share how they’re using automation tools like robotics, conveyor systems, and inventory software to solve real operational challenges.

We will hear from Matthew Trapp, Director of Systems Engineering at Honeywell Intelligrated, who will share trends he's seeing in warehouse automation, and share advice on how to get started. We will also use small group breakout sessions to cover what’s working, what isn’t, and what to consider before investing in new technologies. Topics may include cost justification, integration with existing systems, how automation is changing workforce roles. and/or lessons learned from recent projects, including both successes and setbacks.

This event is a chance for UWEBC members to learn from each other in a practical, open forum. Whether you're exploring automation for the first time or refining your current setup, you’ll leave with ideas you can apply to your own operations.
