Description
The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.
In the past few years, trade compliance has had more conversations with their executives than ever before, and not always for popular reasons such as:
- explaining the profit impact of retaliatory tariffs
- tracking down country of origin on new suppliers before the product arrives
- quickly learning and explaining the impact of NAFTA vs the USMCA
Now that Trade Compliance has the attention of the C-Suite, how does it sell the value it brings and demonstrate the ROI behind key strategic initiatives?
Join trade compliance experts from member companies as we explore how to keep your seat at the table by communicating how trade compliance continues to be a relevant strategic partner within your company, without going "back to the corner" after trade war discussions die down.
Participate in Networking and Benchmarking: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. You choose the discussions you want to join, and share your approaches while learning from others. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
