Description
Supplier health and risk management is an important aspect of your overall supply chain that involves preparing for - and ideally preventing - disruptions that could impact the entire supply chain. With effective supplier health and risk management in place, companies can better manage supply chain disruptions, protect their reputation, and maintain customer satisfaction.
The discussion will focus on:
- identifying critical suppliers and dependencies
- using reliable data to assess risk exposure
- implementing contingency plans before issues escalate
We will hear from Shane Zahn, Global Business Process Owner Procure to Pay Purchasing at Generac, how his team uses technology to improve visibility to supplier data and streamline supplier requests to understand and limit risk. We will also have breakout discussions around how procurement teams monitor supplier performance, collaborate on corrective actions, and develop backup sourcing strategies.
By sharing proven approaches and lessons learned, this session will help participants protect business continuity, reduce the impact of disruptions, and strengthen supplier relationships. Leaders will leave with actionable insights on building redundancy, safeguarding reputation, and maintaining customer satisfaction — while keeping costs under control and improving long-term supply chain resilience.
