Description

The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.

In this virtual meeting, we plan to discuss the current state of trucking in the US including, but not limited to, the capacity and pricing future across truckload, LTL and other issues affecting your business during this time. We will have Schneider report out what they see from their standpoint. Jason Ziegler, CEO of MacGregor Partners will discuss the expedited move to eBOL's during the COVID-19 crisis as no touch transactions have made their way onto the shipping and receiving dock. Gene Seroka from the Port of LA will also join us to discuss how they see the rest of the year unfolding and recount where we have been as the shutdown moved across the county and industries and what the re-opening looks like. A look at risk mitigation for another outbreak will also be discussed.
