Description
The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, the April 22 Information Technology Peer Group meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.
Most organizations claim to be data-driven, but few have truly-enabled an insights-driven business. Research has shown that organizations that are heavily invested in their data programs are dominating their sectors and creating new markets by getting better insights. A data-centric organization is one that is culturally and operationally oriented to use data intensely to drive actionable insights across the organization. It means an organization that enjoys high confidence and intimacy with their data, has wide accessibility to data across the organization, and a culture that empowers employees to utilize data to drive decisions.
The April IT Peer Group will examine how to enable a data-centricity and create an organization committed to be better informed by their data. Among the presenters at this event are:
- Cindi Howson, Chief Data Strategy Officer, ThoughtSpot
- Dr. Naras Eechambadi, Founder & CEO, Quaero
- Dr. Jignesh Patel, CEO, Datachat
- Tony Olson, Director of AI Strategy, Excelion
- Greig DeSautel, Senior Consultant, Pandata Group
- Diwakar Iyer, Solutions Architect, CUNA Mutual Group
- Andrew Fuchs, Portfolio Solutions Architect, CUNA Mutual Group
These presenters will share ideas and strategies on how to drive better customer insights using Customer Data Platforms, creating easier accessibility to insights using natural language interfaces, crafting data strategies that deliver insights more seamlessly, developing citizen data scientists within the organization and how best to develop and orchestrate a data centric organization. This is an exceptional opportunity for technologists as well as marketers and operations leaders to learn and discover how to develop and deliver better insights to drive the business.
