Description
The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.
As business moves faster, IT leaders are facing a critical challenge and opportunity. We all have had to change plans rapidly, adjust to remote workforces and cost pressures, and keep core systems operational and resilient while also delivering competitive advantage in a world that is full of disruption. Our session on Cloud, Infrastructure and Operations will look at the key trends and effective routes forward.
Topics will likely include:
- Balance the need to innovate while “keeping the lights on."
- Learn of the latest tools and methodologies for agile and rapid development.
- Learn how to approach DevOps and the importance of people and culture.
- Understand the impact of cloud and edge services.
Our event will feature interactive roundtables so that attendees will get their questions answered. This meeting is also the perfect opportunity to join your peers to exchange ideas, experiences, and vision you have for the IT function of the future.
