Description
The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.
COVID-19 has arguably had the biggest impact on organizational digital transformation. While remote work was already getting momentum and growing in popularity, the pandemic almost overnight converted a vast majority of global employees to remote workers. Some organizations found themselves able to make this quick transition, while many others were thrown into disarray. Months later, most organizations have developed sufficient capacity to at least “keep the lights on” and keep the business moving. Yet, there is much to be done to prepare the organization to fully embrace remote work and deliver the full capabilities of a future workspace to our employees and partners today.
The July IT Peer Group of the Consortium will examine ways to create the most effective and productive workspaces of the future. At this meeting thought leaders, experts and practitioners from the following organizations will share their learnings and experiences:
- Northwestern Mutual
- Rockwell Automation
- HP Enterprise
- Dell/SecureWorks
- Veronis
- World Wide Technologies
- WPS Health Solutions
- Citrix
- EDCi
We will address such thorny issues as technology, workflows, security, compliance and of course culture and management. We will also have an expert trainer in online meeting orchestration share tactical advice on how best to run a virtual meeting and keep attendees engaged. Thought leaders and experts from across the country will join us to share strategies to help drive meaningful and sustainable change that drives value to customers while maintaining an engaged and empowered workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to be inspired, to learn from organizations that have already successfully made these transformations and collaboratively develop solutions to the many unique challenges we face on this journey. Please join your peers to pave the way for the future success of our great Wisconsin companies.
