Leadership Foundations Boot Camp: How to Build Trust, Engagement, and Excellence in Your Team

Transform your leadership potential and impact.

A culture of trust, engagement, and excellence are essential elements of effective leadership and teamwork. Each element has a positive impact on productivity, employee well-being, innovation, and organizational performance. Yet, there are many factors that make it more challenging than ever for leaders to create such a culture today, including higher levels of complexity and uncertainty, the shift to remote and hybrid work, and the generational and cultural diversity of the workforce.

Do you want to learn how to address the challenges around creating a culture of trust, engagement, and excellence in your team or organization? Do you want to avoid the common pitfalls that can lead to employee – and leader – burnout and poor performance?

If you answered yes to either question, then you don’t want to miss the opportunity to join the Leadership Foundations Boot Camp, a 12-hour intensive course (spread over 4 days) that will transform your leadership potential and impact.

The Leadership Foundations Boot Camp was developed by Dr. Fred Johnson, the founder and CEO of InitiativeOne and a renowned expert in the field of leadership development, and Dr. Paul Metler, Vice President of InitiativeOne and co-author (with Dr. Fred) of two books on helping leaders achieve remarkable results and positive change. Dr. Paul will instruct the Boot Camp.

In this Boot Camp, you will learn the strategies and methods that Drs. Fred and Paul have developed and proven to work in real-world situations. You will discover how to:

  • Deepen your understanding of yourself and others – you’ll take the PDP ProScan® leadership assessment and have a 30-minute personalized consultation about your assessment results before virtual classroom instruction begins
  • Improve your Emotional Intelligence – leverage your self-awareness and social awareness toward better decision making and problem solving
  • Build a high-trust environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Improve employee engagement, motivation, and retention by understanding and addressing their needs and expectations
  • Enhance your decision making, problem solving, and communication skills by applying effective tools and frameworks
  • Manage your energy, emotions, and stress levels by adopting healthy habits and practices
  • Fortify your learning via facilitated experience-sharing and discussion with fellow participants after completion of virtual classroom sessions

Rather than a series of passive lectures or a one-size-fits-all program, the Leadership Foundations Boot Camp is a highly interactive and personalized experience that will challenge, inspire, and empower you to become a better leader.

Following four virtual classroom sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in three collaborative “keep the rowers rowing” sessions with classmates, facilitated by UWEBC Practice Director Jenny Patzlaff, to share and discuss experiences around applying the frameworks and methods learned in the Boot Camp.

The Boot Camp and follow-on sessions will be delivered virtually, so you can join from anywhere. All you need is a computer, an internet connection, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Don’t miss this chance to invest in yourself and your future! The Leadership Foundations Boot Camp is limited to 25 participants, so register today!
