Jennifer has spent her career helping organizations and leaders navigate change. As a longtime consultant, her work has focused on transformation, change management, organizational design, and culture, with experience across industries including manufacturing, professional services, healthcare, and financial services.
Over the years, she has supported leaders through many kinds of change, from digital transformations and reorganizations to mergers and acquisitions and process improvement efforts. While each situation is different, she has seen one common thread: lasting change depends on people.
“Every single change involves humans having to change the way they do things,” Jennifer shared. “And that’s where it gets tricky.”
That people-first perspective is at the heart of what Jennifer brings to UWEBC as our Practice Director in Residence for Change Leadership. She understands that transformation is not just about new systems, strategies, or structures. It is about helping leaders guide people through uncertainty, build trust, and create the conditions for teams to adapt.
Jennifer is especially excited to work with UWEBC because of the opportunity to connect directly with member companies and learn alongside them. She has already enjoyed getting to know representatives from member organizations and sees UWEBC’s peer learning environment as one of its greatest strengths.
“We can bring in a great speaker and listen to them all day long,” Jennifer said, “but the real magic happens when we get people in a room from different organizations, across functions, across roles, having these conversations.”
As organizations continue exploring AI and other fast-moving changes, Jennifer is eager to hear what members are experiencing in real time. What tools are they using? How are they preparing leaders? What challenges are coming up as teams work to adapt? For Jennifer, those conversations are where practical learning and meaningful support begin.
She is also looking forward to engaging with the broader UWEBC community through upcoming programming, including the Annual Conference in October. She sees these gatherings as opportunities to exchange ideas, learn from practitioners, and help leaders make sense of change that is moving quickly and often feels uncertain.
In her role, Jennifer plans to bring a strong sense of presence, positive energy, and a genuine commitment to deep listening to every interaction, creating space for open dialogue and meaningful connection.
“I want to hear what people are struggling with,” she said. “How are they preparing leaders to lead in this environment?”
That mindset will shape the conversations and experiences she leads throughout the year. We’re excited for what’s ahead. Stay connected for upcoming events and conversations centered on leadership, change management, and the key themes guiding our work this year, including Communicating Change with Transparency, an upcoming session with Jennifer on July 23, 2026.
